Can you considered a person totally dead if the doctors said that is brain death? how hard would it be to know that somebody that you love is in a ventilator and unconscious. Those situations are very hard and difficult, when a person is considered brain dead by the doctors is because there is no activity in the brain, althought the person is connected in a machine so it would keep the person organs and circulation active. In the medicine brain death is considered an irreversible coma, there has been a lot of controversy in this cases, in the united states is legal but for example in the state of New york and new jersey the heart and lungs most stopped before the person is fullied considered dead. By facts brain death is irreversible, some religions differ from this, but you cannot come back to life having brain death. Everybody have their opinions and some also may differ from this one, but what do you think?

I think that if you have faith in God then miracles can happen even if the doctors say that brain death is irreversible, you can come back to life having a brain death. "Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you."Matthew 17:20

anything is possible but i think its less likely for it to be irreversible. i know one case where my friends wife to be in a head on car wreck, and they said she was brain dead, then they pronounced her dead. Her husband had made funeral arrangements, and everything. then a few days later the morgue people called him and said that his wife was alive. so anything is possible

I think that the chances of reversing Brain death is very slim. I'm not saying that it is impossible but it is highly unlikely.
